Make Ahead Magic
Hey y’all! Happy Sunday! I hope everyone’s “Back to School” season is going smoothly! Millie joins the preschool class at her daycare on Monday, and I can’t wait to see how the transition goes. I’m also low key excited to go shopping for back to school supplies again. Is there anything better than a fresh pack of markers?!
Due to the frenzy of back to school and soaking up all the joys of summer, I need easy, make-ahead meals that I can prep today and enjoy throughout the week. See below for all the yummies!
Wishing each of you a fabulous Sunday, full of things you love! Thank you for supporting Consider it Done.

What I’m Loving
Persist the Household Operating System - This is a piggyback on last week’s recommendation of Fair Play. I discovered there’s an app that walks you through the same concepts as Fair Play and lets you build and manage your household tasks and assignments. I’ll report back on how it works for us!
Ballard on Prime Video - Every once in a while, you need a cheesy cop drama, and this is a good one. If you liked the show Bosch, this is a pseudo-spin off with a whole new cast of characters and a female lead. I like it because it’s layered and unpredictable!
Tricks to get Millie in her car seat - It’s been a struggle these days, there can be up to 10 minutes of Millie putzing around, demanding that we go on her timeline. My tips aren’t revolutionary, but they work consistently so thought I’d share.
Remain calm - I hate to be late, so this is a hard one for me. Deep breaths and internal reassurance that rushing or getting irritated will only prolong the resistance.
Ask Millie to help - She’s all about autonomy these days, so I’ll ask her to help me buckle the seat belt or put something in/take something out of the cup holder.
Call in reinforcements - Sometimes she just listens to her dad over me, so if he’s around, I’ll tap him in.
I’m adding some extra content beyond the paywall each week.
