Hey friends, happy Sunday! Pool season has begun! Last summer we were morning pool people, usually there as the gates opened, but I have feeling we’ll enjoy more afternoon/evening pool sessions this summer. I like the idea of spending that window between late afternoon and bedtime poolside.

Speaking of summer in full swing, I plan to spend the next week getting all my summer clothes out and ready for wear. Part of that involves digitizing my wardrobe - more on that in today’s “What I’m Loving.”

Wishing each of you a fabulous Sunday, full of things you love! Thank you for supporting Consider it Done.

What I’m Loving

Indyx Digital Wardrobe App - I stumbled upon this app in a Substack article and I am beyond excited to put it to work. Indyx is incredibly easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and full of amazing free features. In the free version you get to digitize unlimited items, save unlimited outfits, and track wardrobe stats like cost-per-wear. The best part - there are no ads. You can pay extra for style coaching or for someone to come to your house and digitize your wardrobe for you. I can already tell this is going to be a very useful tool for refining my personal style, which has been in crisis mode lately.

Eye Care - I unfortunately developed a stye in my right eye a few weeks ago that I’m committed to eliminating. I blame work stress, screens, and far too much time under fluorescent lighting. Thanks to my friend Chloe for suggesting these products that are speeding up the healing process.

Warming Compress for Stye - I use this 3x a day for 10 minutes. At first, I was using wet washcloths and that was annoying and ineffective.

Lumify Eye Drops - My tired eyes are so thirsty, and these eye drops are like an ice cold water in the desert.

ChatGPT for Parenting Tips - A scroll through someone’s ChatGPT is truly a window into their mind. Recently, 70% of my questions are related to toddler stuff. Whenever I need a fresh idea or want a summary of the research on something, I ask Chat. Like anything, I take its responses with a grain of salt and make sure I check the sources for more details if something sounds a lil too good to be true.

Here’s what I’ve asked it recently:

  • What are some fun outdoor activities for 2.5 year old that don't require a lot of setup?

  • What are some make ahead dinner ideas for a picky toddler?

  • My 2.5 year old only wants Mommy to get her dressed and bathed and teeth brushed, how do I introduce Daddy into more of these activities without sparking a tantrum?

That’s all for this week, thank you for reading! Please spread the word about Consider it Done to anyone who enjoys yummy recipes and fun recs!
